The Friends of the Oak Lawn Library will host a Chicago Christmas Lights and Lawry’s bus trip Wednesday, Dec. 7. An in-person registration will be held Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 5300 W. 95th St., in the lobby.

Visit the colorful Christkindlmarket at Daley Plaza for some holiday shopping; see the annual Christmas display at Navy Pier; and dine at “Lawry’s,” a Chicago restaurant legend, for an early dinner. Following “Lawry’s,” enjoy a tour of the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival.

The bus will depart from the library at 1 p.m. and return at 7 p.m. The cost of the trip is $77 for Friends members and $82 for others. Members must present a current membership card or receipt to receive the $5 discount. Two ticket limit. Please be advised that this trip is not wheelchair accessible.
