Position Summary: Assist instructors with
implementing life skill training with small groups and individuals who have developmental disabilities, assist individuals with physical impairments in personal care, assist individuals with developing better social skills and
coping mechanisms, working cooperatively with a team in addressing the needs of multiple individuals who have disabilities. This position does involved driving the adult clients in a large van.
Education: High School Diploma or GED. This would be a great fit for a new grad trying to gain experience in social services, behavior management, social work, case management.
Requirements:
* Experience with the developmentally disabled preferred
*Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
* Ability to communicate and deal effectively with others
* Ability to plan, organize and implement a daily schedule
Other:
Hours: Monday - Friday (7:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Wages: $9.00+ depends on experience
