Mother McAuley Hosts Grade School Science Fair

On Saturday, March 31, Mother McAuley High School hosted its 1st Annual Science Fair for students in grades 6 through 8.  Students were invited to showcase a science project focusing on an Investigation or Invention. Science teachers and McAuley alumnae served as judges, awarding prizes to the top three entries in each of the two categories.  Congratulations to the following winners.

 Invention category:

1st Place: Emily Bobber, (7th grade, St. Christina) for her project, “Traveltricity”

2nd Place: Morgan Insley, (7th grade, St. Christina) for her project, “Go Team Gadget”

3rd place: Will March and Liam Daniher (6th grade, St. John Fisher) for their project, “Cool Knees”

Investigation category:

1st Place: Maggie Hackett and Erin Walsh, (8th grade, St. Christina) for their project, “Who Has a Better Memory: Males or Females?”

2nd Place:  Angelica Diego (7th grade, Peck Elementary), for her project “Furry Little Rabbits”

3rd Place:  Grace Rost, (7th grade, Cardinal Bernadin), for her project “Hydroponics”
