Oak Lawn Community High School’s 2012 Homecoming, Spartans at the Beach, will feature the annual themed days, homecoming court, parade, fireworks, and a dance. 

The theme of this year's Spartan homecoming is "Back to the Beach."

The OCLHS 2012 Homecoming Parade will step off at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The parade starts at Oak Lawn Village Hall, and continues west on 95th Street to Oak Lawn Community High School at 95th Street and Southwest Highway.

The pep rally and fireworks show immediately follows the parade at approximately 7:15 p.m. 

Following tradition, Friday, Sept. 28 will be Spartan Pride Day, where all Spartans are encouraged to show their spirit by wearing green and white to school. The Oak Lawn Spartans battle Evergreen Park High School. The sophomore football game begins at 5 p.m. and the  varsity game will begin at approximately 7 p.m. at Oak Lawn Community High School.

The Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, September 29 in the Spartan Gym from 7 to 10 p.m.  Students may purchase tickets during their lunch periods all week: tickets are $15 per person if purchased on September 24-25; tickets are $20 per person if purchased on September 26, 27, and 28.  No tickets will be sold at the door.
