The Advanced Women’s Choir from Richards High School has been selected to perform live on the ABC7 newscast at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 17.

Channel 7 has invited a handful of choirs from around the Chicago area to perform live in its downtown studios in the days leading up to Christmas.

“Our students are thrilled, of course.  It’s very exciting to have the opportunity to perform on such a big stage.  We’re working hard and we’ll be ready,” said choir director Brian Lonergan.
