The Student Council and members of the National Honor Society, along with an array of student leaders from Oak Lawn Community High School, created care packages for the soldiers, sailors, and airmen serving our country in Afghanistan and Iraq. The project was a part of the Student Leadership Conference on September 21, 2011.  The generosity of the staff and the manpower of the student leaders resulted in 19 care packages that consisted of books, magazines, freeze pops, coffee, eye drops, baby wipes, and snacks.  Way to support our troops, leaders!
