Accused Woman to Cops: 'I'm Glad Us Gypsies Steal Money from Your Old People'

Woman charged with felony aggravated battery after she spits at cop; police forced to get out spit hood, reports say.

A woman picked up on an outstanding warrant from Advocate Christ Medical Center was charged with aggravated battery against an Oak Lawn police officer on June 17.

Tiffany Nicole Miller, 20, of the 7000 block of West 87th St. was held at the hospital for police when it was discovered that there was a warrant out for her arrest, reports said.

A police officer went to pick her up after she was discharged at 1:35 a.m. After she was put into the back of the partol car, Miller began yelling and swearing at the officer, police said.

According to reports, Miller said: “f--- you, mother------. I’m glad us gypsies steal money from your old people.”

When the officer told Miller to be quiet, police said she spit at the back of his head. The officer applied his brakes in an attempt to disrupt her spitting. He advised dispatch to have additional officers ready because Miller was spitting, reports said.

During the radio transmission, police said Miller spat twice more, striking the officer on the back of his head.

Miller allegedly laughed and said, “Gotcha, mother------,” reports said.

Other officers were standing by with the spit hood when the officer pulled up to the Oak Lawn police station.

Upon seeing the spit hood, police said that Miller made an unsolicited statement, “I’m sorry, I won’t spit anymore.”

After she was read her rights, Miller told police she didn’t know why she spit at the the officer, but that she was sorry, reports said.

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s office approved felony charges for aggravated batter to a police officer. Miller was still being held for a bond hearing at 26th and California at the time of the report.

Fry her! Stealing from the elderly is bad enough. It's like murder. Saying she is glad gypsies steal from our old people should send her to jail for the rest of her life. You know that she will never stop and neither will her gypsy family and friends. We need to get them out of Oak Lawn altogether. Spitting at a police officer who is on the streets to protect others, is the icing on the cake. Throw the book at her.

Sadly its a big game of Hatred..Isn't human nature a wonderful thing.. Now one can guess how someone with a vicious predisposition thru negative encounters perpetuates tribalism....
Here's the thing though ...Since when is the hospital a bounty hunter ??? How did they know she has a warrant unless some hospital staff member called a cop on a cell phone or has access to do a criminal check?? Hospital security can access to police records? wow...
Regardless of what she said or assult she commited... Cops take people in on warrants not hospital staff. If she was smart she would litigate.

My guess, anthony, would be that the hospital does that as a security measure...she probably was checking in, since they don't just pull the i.d. of EVERYONE that walks in the E.R. (or at least they didn't the last time I was in there). Think about it this way...if you might be stuck waiting in the E.R. waiting room for hours on end, do you want it to be next to a wanted felon? I understand your point, and it does seem a bit intrusive...it is a hard balancing act, lots of gray area, I guess. doubt she can litigate though. Aren't there enough bad lawsuits in the systema anyway? Now we want to add fugitives to the list? The hospital didn't seek her out, so bounty hunter is a stretch, isn't it? The police get calls all the time about 'suspicious' people that turn out to be nothing...in this case, even if a nurse or guard did call, they were RIGHT! So...good, no?

This woman is just another example of how low our morals have sunk! Put her in solitary and she can spit all over herself. There is no place for people like this but prison. FYI...if you use the spit hood made of plastic with No holes the spit wouldn't come through.. Also the string should be pulled Very tight along the neck!! No more spitting..........

Unfortunately, just like this pig, there are a whole lot more people who act like animals rather than humans. Just a shame the cops didn't relocate her teeth for her.

I am a Registered Nurse who works at a Chicago-area hospital. I know for a fact that hospitals don't run people's police records, and I guarantee that it wasn't the hospital that discovered she had an outstanding warrant. I think the most likely scenario was that the police tracked her down in the ER by contacting friends or family members who reported to police that she was at the hospital, and they arrested her after she left the hospital building.

Sounds hard to believe but could little Ms Sunshine have been acting out in the hospital? Maybe the police Had to be called. They should've put the "hood" on her anyway!

Lorraine, I hope you get a mug shot of her sans the spit hood. The residents of village has a right to see what this criminal looks like. I am sure when all this blows over she will be back on our streets looking to pray on my mother or someone elses. It is her career. It is all she knows how to do.

If you read the caption on the photo, this is an example of what a spit hood looks like. Thanks to Terri, I have acquired the accused's mugshot and will have it up in a sec. I was just intrigued by what a spit hood is, and thought you guys would be too.

Why do these awful people even come to this country in the first place? They have absolutely no redeeming qualities, they're of no benefit to anyone in society, they're good for nothing, they know that, they relish that. They should all be institutionalized.

Once again, I do not consider myself politically correct. The authorities should take this waste of life and bring public caning to the area and and make a bloody example out of it. Then, I bet gang banging losers and the rest of the crap that's out there would think twice before committing a senseless crime!!!!!!

If she's anything like the gypsies that come in where i work, I'm SURE she made some kind of scene, maybe she felt it was taking to long (cause they are special ya know!) And the police were called, that's probably how they found out she had a warrant!. I'm Sorry, my opinion only, but they really are horrible people they will scam you and steal from you in a heart beat!, I'm only staying my opinion on experience with dealing with them.
