If last Wednesday’s presidential debate left you with more questions than answers, here’s your chance for the presidential candidates to address the issues that most matter to you.
The next presidential debate will be a town hall meeting format at Hofstra University in Long Island, where voters will ask President Obama and Mitt Romney about domestic and foreign policy.
Patch is asking you, our readers, to participate by submitting questions for the candidates.
All you have to do is post your question in the comments section below and we’ll send it to the Commission on Presidential Debates. The Commission is partnering with Patch's parent company Aol, along with Google and Yahoo, to take questions from web users across the country.
Don’t wait until Nov. 6 to have a say in this year’s election. Share your thoughts in the comments!

Romney keeps talking about jobs jobs jobs, but his state was 47th in job creation under his rule. why doesn't anyone remember that? Also the GOP fought Obama every step and that is why he hasn't been able to do all that he planned, what about that?

So you wanted the GOP to allow Obama to take this country down the Socialist path and become Europe. The 47 is an Obama number

Obama had control of both houses...he could pass anything that was important to him. Bailouts and Obamacare.....help the unions and drive up the cost of health insurance....

Romney has consistently said he will repeal Roe vs Wade...ask him SPECIFICALLY if he will do so. Ask him about his stand on equal pay and Planned Parenthood. Ask him about getting rid of SS, Medicare & Medicaid

Ask Obama why he keeps blaming the republicans for not passing his agendas when he couldn't get them first passed by a democratic controlled congress. Also ask him why he felt it was his right to sign more executive orders than any other president to pass things he knew would never pass in a real democracy.

Mr. Romney, you've stated that "the Government doesn't create jobs only the private sector creates jobs".
Then why did you say that cutting defense spending will cost 100,000 jobs?
Isn't the job you have spent years and millions of dollarrs trying to get a Government job?
Isn't you're proposal to cut tax rates but eliminate deductions a lot like saying, "here is a $20 a week raise, but we're raising your insurance $80 a month"?

Gov. doe's not create jobs cutting defense spending will cost 100,000 jobs in the private sector. You need to learn how things work Luther when the last time you saw a plan made by the Gov. never. Gov go to the private sector and pay to have a plan made cutting spend is Obama not Romney. and Romney is not raising your health care cost Obama care is.

Allen, if you make Cessnas, Learjets, 747s' or DC10s' you work in the private sector.
If you're making F-18s', F-22s' or Apaches', I'm sorry but no matter whos' name is on the top of the check, you work for the Government.

2 part Question for Obama now that you gave amnesty too over 2 million children of Illegal’s how do you plan to keep the next wave of Illegal’s from coming in to the US to get this so called free gift of amnesty because today you look the other way and refuse to deport so what make the country think your going to check status and not rubber stamp all that come in the door? Rather than spend the money on amnesty to children that did not earn it on a new arm of Government, wouldn't that money be better spent on improving the education system to help American children improve in math and science with a teacher paid on performance in these two major subjects?

Romney-you talked about cutting deductions and exemptions; which ones exactly? Obama-Why have you sent aid to 3 foreign countries to drill for oil and cut the American drilling by millions? Shouldn't upi be for the United States first? And last- for both; why not use all the millions being collected from private individuals and corporations for PUBLIC education rather than charter schools?
Allen James

I agree with you 100 % but before we give more money to public schools the have a performance based system for teachers. That's what charter schools have over public schools.

Ask Obama...If Obamacare is such a great thing why are 1200 companies exempt including many union groups?

Would you or your financial supporter, who can afford it, purchase either an all electric or a hybrid motor vehicle instead of a gas powered one? Why or Why not? That surely will help create jobs and boost the economy. Greg T.

My question is about jobs. I keeping hearing about all the recent college graduates and all the veterans that are without jobs. While I feel or these groups of American's, what I want to know is what is ANYONE doing to help those of us over 50 or 55 years old find decent employment? I was laid off back in November of 2010 after having work for the same company for nearly 12 years and have yet to find a job. I've lost my apartment, I've, used up all of my 401k money, and I've had to move in with family. Does ANYONE even care about this age group and helping us find employment?
