Lots of suspicious cars in Burbank all the time! Just like any other town! A description of the individuals would have helped too!

It's nice that they put this out there to keep the public informed. If the public doesn't know what happened and what to look for, why bother!

All I was told over the phone was that there was a suspious vehicle on 83rd st. Would have been nice if they mentioned there was a police chhace that ended with gangbangers jumpin out the car and running around the neighborhood with the whole police dept looking for them with the schools on lockdown. I feel super mislead about the whole situation

"One subject was located and turned over to Chicago
Police in the area of 87th Street and Central. "

But no call or text message alert to Oak Lawn residents? Even though this took place a mere block from my home.

But I get a phone call & text message Tuesday about the impending snow storm. It's Chicago people. That "storm" was not a big deal.

And they can make plenty of phones about the upcoming election.

Yet 87th and Central is the border of Covington School in Oak Lawn and I guess finding one gangbanger there and two still missing wasn't enough to put any Oak Lawn school on lock down.
The high school has many students that walk home and live in that area, the grammar school kids are mostly all walkers, and parents walk to get their kids, but Oak Lawn didn't find it necessary once again to keep our children safe. Burbank did.
Maybe it was because the gangbanger wasn't exactly in Oak Lawn when he was caught? How did they know the other two weren't in Oak Lawn? Obviously no one could find them so how did they know for sure that they didn't head into Oak Lawn toward any of the schools?
Who dropped the ball on this one?
Good thing we closed the schools for that blizzard or maybe I should say heavy snow fall? Really??
