Cars on Trailer Burn on Cicero Avenue

Smoke billowed over Cicero Avenue behind the D-Lux Budget Motel as firefighters doused a tractor-trailer carrying automobiles that caught fire Friday around 2 p.m.

Alsip firefighters hose down a burning car on the back of a car carrier Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at about 2 p.m. at 12400 Cicero Ave.

Alsip firefighters doused burning cars, SUVs and a pickup truck on a the back of a tractor-trailer after several caught fire Friday afternoon, just before 2 p.m. The smoke could be seen over Cicero Avenue for miles as traffic backed up in both directions.

The trailer was in a lot south of the D Lux Budget Motel, in the 12400 block of Cicero Avenue.

Now that you mention it Hoghead!!!! I did see a lanky, big eared,black/muslim looking guy jumping into a black SUV right down the street from there about that time.

Take a look next time you pass this location..very shady looking place with cars thrown all over property?? Wonder if it's even a legitimate business??
