The man wanted in a double-stabbing outside the Advocate Christ Medical Center emergency department was arrested in Dearborn, Mich. on Sunday evening, Oak Lawn Police said.
Kamal Yasin, 32, is accused of stabbing both of his brother-in-laws in a parking lot near the hospital emergency department entrance at 94th Street and Kilbourn Avenue.
Oak Lawn police responded to fight between multiple people in the parking lot around 11:36 p.m. Saturday. According to a witness who did not want his name used, it appeared that a man was beating one of the injured men with a stick.
Several women were also yelling at the men, the witness said.
A nurse who was standing outside the hospital ran to help one of the injured men into the emergency department. Two other men assisted the second man into the hospital. Both had been stabbed.
The witness said that the floor of the waiting area inside the emergency department “was covered in blood.”
The injured brothers included a 30-year-old Burbank man who was stabbed in the head and torso; the younger brother, a 20-year-old Chicago Ridge man, was stabbed in the face and back, police said.
Following the flight, Yasin was said to have fled in a 1996 Mercedes Benz.
Oak Lawn police detectives were able to develop information that put Yasin in the Dearborn, Mich., area on Sunday. The area is known to have large Arab population.

Bond for the warrant was set at $50,000.
