Suspect in Monday's attempted bank robbery at Charter One in Alsip.
The FBI said that four men in their late teens and early twenties tried to hold up Charter One bank in Alsip.
Two more suspects in Monday morning's attempted robbery of Charter One bank in Alsip.

Four alleged bank robbers—described by witnesses as being “very young”—tried to take over and rob an Alsip bank on Monday.

The FBI said the robbery occurred around 9:50 a.m. at the Charter Bank, 12004 S. Pulaski Road. Witnesses said as two of the men waited in a customer line, the other two entered the bank, an FBI news release said.

The four then announced a robbery to the bank and employees and customers. One of the men jumped over the teller counter in an attempt to get money. No weapons were ever shown and there were no injuries.

A few moments later, thinking law enforcement, the four fled on foot away from the bank empty-handed.

“They believed that police had been notified so they high tailed it out of there,” FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said.

The alleged bandits were described as male blacks in their late teens or early twenties.

Anyone having information about Monday’s attempted bank robbery is encouraged to call the Chicago FBI office at 312-421-6700 or Alsip police.

Obamas America. It will only get worse as the government cheeze runs out. Lock your doors. According to V.P. Joe BiteMe we should get a couple shotguns.
