VIDEO: Oak Lawn Students Pump Up the Jams
Oak Lawn Community High School celebrates homecoming 2011.
Judging by the volume of the music, which could be heard all the way on Southwest Highway, we’d say the Oak Lawn Community High School homecoming dance was a huge success.
More than 1,000 students attended the dance in the Spartan gym on Saturday night. OLCHS assistant principal Joe McCurdy said that homecoming is the school’s most popular dance.

Students pumped up the jams, showing off their best moves. Most of the girls danced in their bare feet, having stashed their gravity defying heels in the coat checkroom.
In case parents were wondering if their kids had a good time, judging by this video we’d say the answer is yes.

I love the old time rock and roll too, CJM. I can also recall my principal and teachers complaining about the music my generation listened to and its volume. While the music changes, the currents that run through the generations are essentially the same. I had fun last night.

Our Daughter had a Wonderful time last night !!!! I'm so glad that the kids are able to make these memories !!! She went with 4 of her girl friends and danced the night away . Thank You Oak Lawn Community High School for keeping these events happening.

I had a blast and I can't wait until Lorraine puts up the pictures of me and my date, with a few others all matching in blue. It was the best night of my life.
