It's that time of year again -- garage sale season.
Here at Oak Lawn Patch we pride ourselves on local, useful information. That includes who has tools for a bargain, a dresser in their driveway or some clothes laid out on the lawn.
Posting your garage sale on Oak Lawn Patch is easy ... and even better yet, it's free. Log in to Oak Lawn Patch. You can use your Facebook log in, or create a new account if you don't have one.
Then click on our "Events" tab on the top of the page and on "Add an Event" near the top right corner. Or just go to Oak Lawn Patch Events.
Fill out the information in the form. You can enter as little or as much as you'd like but be sure to enter your address and check off "Garage Sales" under categories. When you're all done, click on the "Post My Event" button on the bottom left of the screen, and voila!
You can even upload photos of your best stuff, if you have pictures.
Every Friday throughout the summer, we will run a map of all the yard and garage sales in Oak Lawn and other nearby communities. So if you have a garage or yard full of treasures to sell in Burbank, Chicago Ridge, Worth, Alsip or Crestwood, you can post on Patch, too.
