Hunting for Patch's Last Local Clue

Our crew of nearly 20 Southland Patch editors, ad managers and other staff will blitz Oak Lawn on June 27 with goodies and volunteerism throughout the community. Here's our last local clue in our virtual scavenger hunt.

It’s your editor’s way of thanking the best community that I’ve had the privilege of covering as a journalist, and I’ve covered my share of neighborhoods and towns.

My young Patch colleagues will be spreading out across Oak Lawn today so make them sweat. They'll be visiting Park Lawn, the Oak Lawn Park District Pavilion sports camp, the Oak Lawn Library, Kmart, Standard Bank at 4700 W. 111th St., Platinum Chiropractic and the Sara Lee Bakery Outlet.

I'll be at field camp, the Oak Lawn Farmers Market at Cook and Dumke, and later at base camp at Deja Brew.

We'd like to thank FirstMerit Bank for letting us share their table at the Farmers Market, Deja Brew for adjusting their schedule to open early for us, and Tuzik's 95th Street Bakery, winner of our Best Pastry Chowdown Showdown.

Our "Hunt for Local Clues" feature proved so popular, that we'll be bringing it back every Wednesday, starting next week.

And now for our last local clue: You're lucky if you live in Oak Lawn, so tell us where we'd find this lucky shamrock?
