Highlights of the 2012 Oak Lawn Baseball and Softball Parade

Candy-throwning children and several dogs marched in Oak Lawn Baseball and Softball's Opening Day parade on Sunday morning.

Hundreds of youngsters stepped off down 98th Street in their new uniforms holding banners and showing their game faces as they marched toward Kolb Field.

Patch wishes all the Oak Lawn players, coaches, parents and grandparents a great season of baseball.

Watch the highlight reel of the parade.

That video brought back some great memories from when I was a kid. We used to march down 95th st from the tracks to 54th ave than to 99th st and to the park. Always a fun day.
