The village was worried about Brunswick zone, maybe Duhig could do something about the "element" that goes to OUR CeC. Bourbon St changes the club to a country bar because of the people going there

Chuck E Cheese has long been a horrible place for a kid to be a kid. The parents who take their children there are often young and unruly themselves. I've been there for a birthday party and noticed how younger parents do not control their children. There's a difference between letting kids run around to have fun and bringing your kids there to do whatever they want. Pushing, fighting, bullying. If it weren't so inexpensive to go, I imagine it would be a better environment. I also think that staff should be able to monitor the game area and enforce some set of rules. Staff should have found this kid's mother and asked her to control her kid or leave. When the bowling alley changed back to its original owner, I was relieved. It would be nice if more Oak Lawn residents voiced their opinions about the types of businesses that go up and who they attract. Orland Park has a huge business district and they, like Oak Lawn Police, are immediately responsive...but they control what businesses come to their town.

A child was reported to be behaving badly. The child's mother responds with physical violence toward the accusers. The child obviously has learned his/her bad behavior from his/her mother. The poor kid may be doomed to a life of violence if that is all he/she knows.

As part of her sentence for this crime, the mother should be required to go through anger management sessions.

That place needs to close. Oak Lawn residents go to Tinley because of the people that go to our Chuck E Cheese. It's sad. I agree that it needs to be moved to 95th & Ashland. All the rif raf comes from there anyway. We don't need it in our nice neighborhood.

I can't wait to see what going in at 111th and Cicero. Put some QUALITY stores in there. that woill appeal to Oak Lawn residents!

And while we're at it, maybe something should be done about St. James Place? Two or three incidents in as many weeks? Spitting patrons (nice,ladies) and gang symbols in the bathroom? You don't seem to hear that about BJ McMahons or other local places. That bar seems to bring in a great element too. I agree - more quality (higher end) shops & restaurants would bring in a good crowd. Keeping good thoughts for the 111th & Cicero development too!

You guys jumped all over this one, I wonder why???? Very few comments about the girls spitting on bartenders and fighting at St. James Place. That girl had warrants and went to jail, only citations here. There is a lot of filth infiltrating Oak Lawn black, white, latino, male, female, young, old. Let's be pissed at what can potentially affect us more, most of us won't be in Chuck E. cheese anytime soon but damn sure will be in St. James Place.

Burbank isn't any better, just heart breaking what's happening to our neighborhoods. : (

What community isn't racist to some degree? 4620 is right, these people all are from east of Ashland. So by voicing our opinions over the disgust and aggravation about this place makes someone racist? I think not.. This makes us villagers nuts that this kind of crap has been going on there for years and nothing has been done to take care of the problem. Read the other comments, no one from ol goes there and I sure the hell am not going there either. I have a solution to the problem- shut it down! If we can't go there then nobody can.
