Oak Lawn's Brianna Markusic outpolled 10 others in voting for Southland Patch's MVP, Dec. 3-9. She is now eligible for Patch Athlete of the Month honors.

Evergreen Park's Harold Fairley scored 16 points in the Mustangs' 60-57 boys basketball victory over Tinley Park.

Best dedicated athlete and student. She takes pride n puts forth all she can in her sports and academics. Outside of school she is dedicated to her family and friends.
