There was no shortage of fun at Oak Lawn's annual pet parade on Saturday.
Dozens of dogs and even a guinea pig marched in the Oak Lawn Chamber's annual pet parade on Saturday.

Wearing silly costumes or coming as themselves, dogs pranced down 99th Street, occasionally stopping at one of several watering stations along the parade route. Nobody seemed to mind when some dogs flopped into the water troughs. The Stockyard Kiltie Band set the pace with pipes and drums as neighbors cheered on parade participants from the sidelines.
Prizes for the pet-owner look alike and best-dressed pet were provided by Petco and Pet Supplies Plus.
Once again Shadow the gray poodle, who came dressed as a Chia pet, won Oak Lawn Patch’s prize for keeping her costume on the longest.
