'That’s Not Amore'

Vandals shattered the front picture window of a home on the 4100 block of West 99^th Avenue. According to the homeowner, he heard a noise around 10:15 p.m. When he went outside he discovered that the vandals had thrown a slice of pizza at the window. Police found the slice on the ground. The report did not specify if the pizza was pepperoni, sausage or cheese.

Cold French Fries

Police went to Portillo’s at 4020 W. 95^th St. after the manager reported a disturbance around 10:43 a.m., according to reports. The manager advised police that the customer was boarding a 95^th Street bus. Police found the man and removed him from the bus and admitted arguing with the Portillo’s manager over cold French fries, reports said. Gregory A. Peterson, 53, of Los Angeles, Calif., was cited for disorderly conduct.

Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em

An upset customer broke the glass door at 7-Eleven at 4501 W. 95th St. when the clerk would not sell tobacco products to her friends because they could not produce ID. Police said that two men came into the store around 1:23 a.m. to buy tobacco. One of the men got upset when the clerk wouldn’t sell it to him without ID, and started yelling in the store. Two women joined the men and they, too, started yelling at the clerk. As the four left the store, one of the women kicked the door, cracking it. When the clerk advised them that they had broken the door, the four jumped into their car and fled.
