Thugs Torment Couple With Knife
Two men only known as ‘Cuz’ and ‘Preacher Boy’ threatened a couple with a knife and roughed them up when they visited the couple’s home on the 9700 block of South Rutherford Avenue. Police arrived at the home around 8 p.m. The 40-year-old victim told cops that he got into a verbal argument with Preacher Boy and another man named Cuz outside the couple’s home. During his argument with Preacher Boy, he pushed the man several times. Cuz also became involved and started pushing and shoving the man, challenging him to a fight if the man didn’t produce a certain auto part that Cuz had purchased. At some point, the man’s wife came outside. The wife wife stepped between them and Cuz shoved her several times, police said. Cuz pulled out a pair of chrome brass knuckles with a small knife attached. According to reports, Cuz said, “we’ll handle this the hood way,” and “you’re a dead man.” When the couple’s neighbor came outside, the couple said that Preacher Boy and Cuz got into their car and fled northbound on Rutherford before turning west on 95th Street. The couple believes their alleged tormenters may have gone to an auto repair shop in Chicago. The neighbor corroborated the couple’s story, telling police that when she came outside Cuz was pushing and grabbing the wife.
