Oak Lawn police were called to St. James Place, 5305 W. 95th St., around 10:38 p.m. Oct. 5.
Police said the bartender was in the process of pouring a beer when a woman identified as Ashley Dawn Sundquist, 21, mouthed a derogatory word at the bartender and gave her the finger.
The bartender said she recognized Sundquist and her group from past occasions when they caused problems and were kicked out of the bar, reports said.
Police said the bartender signaled for the bouncers to escort Sundquist and her friends out of the bar.
While the bouncers were talking to Sundquist and her friends, the bartender walked up and told them that the group was no longer allowed back at the bar, reports said.

At the sight of the bartender, Brittany Calatayud, 21, who was with Sundquist’s party, apparently became irate and threatened the bartender, to the point where the bouncers had to physically restrain her, police said.
Calatayud allegedly told the bartender to remember her face because she’s the one would be kicking the bartender’s [expletives deleted].
As the bouncers were restraining Calatayud, police said, Sundquist allegedly walked up to the bartender and spit in her face.
Police said that the bouncers did not see Sundquist spit at the bartender because they were busy with Calatayud, but did hear her yell, “She just spit on me. I’m going to call the police.”
The bartender went to wipe off the purported spit and called police, the bouncers were able to get the group, including the males, to leave the bar without further incident, police said.
When police arrived, the group was not at the scene. Officers found them in the 9500 block of South Ridgeland Avenue. The bartender was brought to the Ridgeland Avenue where she positively identified the women.
All were told not to return to St. James Place.
Calatayud was charged with assault; Sundquist with one count of battery. Both women live in Oak Lawn and have a court appearance in Bridgeview on Nov. 26, police said.
After she bonded out of the Oak Lawn jail, Calatayud was turned over to Chicago Ridge police because of an earlier retail theft and assault that occurred in their town.
