Police Release Images of Cell Phone Store Robbery Suspects
Oak Lawn police continue to investigation Tuesday's armed robbery of a cell phone store.

Police released surveillance photos of two men suspected in the Tuesday evening robbery of the T-Mobile store at 10312 S. Cicero Ave.
The images depict two male blacks who allegedly entered the store around 6:35 p.m. Tuesday and forced two employees to lie on the floor at gunpoint while they made off with an unknown amount of cash.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery or has information is encouraged to call Oak Lawn police at 708-422-8292.
The images have also been added to an earlier Oak Lawn Patch report.

Gangs - Armed Robberies - Citizens held up in their garages - sexual assaults etc.... I know that Oak Lawn is not the only place these things happen, but it sure seems as if they are becoming more frequent.And there seems to be a correlation to the type residents and businesses coming into town. I never thought I would consider moving but my .family is grown and I need a good reason to stay.

I think it's time to start stopping all these strangers walking around town.. We know who they are but being PC stops most of it.. I frequently see kids during the day wandering around and have to wonder why they aren't in school?? I don't believe it would be wrong for the police to just ask them a few questions.. Where are you from and what is your busines in this side of town? Maybe this alone would make them want to commit their crimes elsewhere....

Too bad all the businesses in town don't have silent alarm hot buttons like they have in banks. Press the silent alarm and the police are notified. It won't work in all cases but it might help catch a few criminals.

I agree. Police need to ask people why they are in a certain neighborhood. I know we all have the "right" to be wherever we want constitutionally, but realistically if you don't live in my neighborhood, you have no business being here!!! I have never felt the need to walk around someone else's neighborhood when I had no business being there.
The communities really need to start standing guard and chase these people out, watch them like hawks, follow them until they're gone
Most of the time these strangers wander around canvassing the area, looking for people to rob, houses to break into, etc. they need to stay in their own neighborhood and leave what's left of the good, safe neighborhoods alone l!
