UPDATE: Marist's Oden Gets the Biggest Roar from the Crowd

Marist's three-point dynamo Tyler Oden did some of his best work during the RedHawks' magical boys basketball postseason run. He outpolled six others to earn Patch MVP honors, too. Now, he is eligible for March Patch Athlete of the Month recognition.

Johnson added 11 points and 9 rebounds in Bloom's 43-32 victory over H-F in the sectional final. He made two 3-pointers as the Blazing Trojans won their first sectional title since 2000.
Marist's Tyler Oden made three 3-pointers and scored 15 points in the RedHawks' 65-44 loss to top-ranked Simeon in the championship game of the Class 4A Argo Sectional.

Anything above 15 feet will make Weaver a contender at the IHSA state meet later this spring. Time will tell if he can go high enough to win the state championship.
