UPDATE: L-W North's McFarland Gets the Biggest Roar from the Crowd

Lincoln-Way North volleyball standout Ryan McFarland outpolled 11 others in Patch's weeklly MVP balloting. He is now eligible for March Patch Athlete of the Month recognition.

Oak Forest's Danny Lyons (8) had 11 digs and six kills in a show of his all-around game in the Bengals' 25-9, 25-23 boys volleyball victory over Homewood-Flossmoor.
Tinley Park freshman Cosette Tomita went 2-for-4, belted a grand slam, and drove in six runs in the Titans' 10-2 victory over Oak Lawn. She added two doubles in an 11-1 five-inning victory over Argo.
Lincoln-Way Central's Rachel Post (right) scored two goals and chipped in one assist in the Knights' 4-0 girls soccer victory over Hinsdale Central.
Oak Forest's Nicole Price (top, pictured during a match last season against H-F) scored on a 30-yard shot with 5 seconds left in the Bengals' thrilling 1-0 girls soccer victory over Joliet Catholic Academy.
Andrew's Kelly Christner takes a peek into the outfield as she rounds second and heads for third during a game last season. Christner went 3-for-3 and belted a two-run homer in the Thunderbolts' 8-2 victory over Marist. She also drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
Providence Catholic's Zak Kutsulis homered and drove in three runs in an 11-0 five-inning victory over Plainfield East. He went 2-for-4, including a double, and had four RBIs in a 6-1 victory over Lemont.
