Crosstown Classic: Sox Bar vs. Cubs Bar? You Decide

Vote in our best bar for a ballgame poll.

It’s spring and that means hope springs eternal for Chicago’s two ball clubs – the Sox and Cubs. Let’s go, batter up, we’re taking the afternoon off!

Baseball season is under way for the Sox and the Cubs. The Sox are a game-and-a-half out of first place in the American Central Division with 5-4 racked up in the win-loss column, while the beleaguered Cubs are making their spring run for the pennant with a win-loss record of 3-7. So much for the era of Theo.

But there are a lot of games left to play. What's the best bar in Oak Lawn to watch a ballgame? The best place to let out a cheer or cry in your beer?

Our victor will be based on a combo of positive reviews and poll votes. One Patch user who leaves a review will be randomly chosen to win a Patch T-shirt.

And if our we haven't included your favorite watering hole, please give a shoutout in the comments. (Better yet, like us on Facebook so you can chime in next time.)

Glad to see not many votes for the Homestead given their past. Not sure how that place is still around.
