Truck Flips Over At 95th Street and Cicero Avenue

Equipment and crews on scene. Traffic continues to flow through intersection but it's slow going.

A semi-truck carrying a load of coils flipped on to its side as it was making a right turn on to 95th Street from Cicero Avenue.

The accident occurred sometime after 10 a.m. Monday. Police and fire crews were on the scene.

Chief Bill Villanova said it appeared that the cause of the accident is still under investigation. There were no injuries.

Villanova said crews were trying to figure out the best way to right the truck.

Traffic is still open at the corner, although 95th Street has been reduced to one lane at the intersection heading eastbound. Traffic continues to flow through the intersection but it’s slow going.
