Would oak lawn issue a warrant a local ordinance retail theft charge for failure to appear at the oak lawn civic center? and if so would this warrant put a hold on release if this person is currently an inmate in Will county adult detention? Maybe not the right forum for this but if someone could shed some light on this or maybe direct me to an online resource that could it would be much appreciated.

RTS,
We get our warrant information from the Cook County Sheriff's Office. The links to the sheriff's home page and to the individuals listed in the story. I would also suggest that you call the number at the end of the story, 708-865-4915, 7am-30m, Mon.-Fri, if you believe the information to be inaccurate. I'm sure the sheriff's office can answer your question about a detained person being unable to show at their court hearing for another unrelated charge. If I haven't answered your question, please contact me at lorraine.swanson@patch.com.
