Mother McAuley Seniors Named National Merit Commended Scholars

Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School is proud to announce that seniors Caitlin Conroy, Casey Rowe, and Christine Schmidt have been named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is a nationwide competition for recognition and awards conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). Approximately 34,000 teenagers throughout the nation are being recognized as Commended Students this year. These students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013 competition by taking the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Their current academic achievements and future academic promise have allowed them to stand out above their peers.

Mother McAuley is honored to award all three seniors with a Letter of Commendation from the school and the NMSC.
