9 Baby Ducks Rescued in Hometown

This one has a happy ending.

The Hometown Police and Fire Departments as well as maintenance staff from District 123 participated in a special kind of recuse last week.

In a blog post on Patch, District 123 describes the operation to save the nine baby ducklings who had fallen into a catch basin. The story has a happy ending as all the feathered friends were brought out to safety after a manhole cover was removed.
