The theme of the 2013 homecoming parade is “Spartans At the Masquerade Ball,” and features the Johnson-Phelps VFW Color Guard, homecoming court, Spartan Marching Band, cheerleaders and floats sponsored by the various student, community and civic organizations.
This year’s Grand Marshal is retired Oak Lawn Police Officer and retired OLCHS School Police Liaison, Officer Robert Foster (OLCHS Class of 1963).
Immediately following the parade is a community pep rally for the Spartans, followed by a fireworks show at Napleton Field.
The homecoming king and queen will also be announced.
