Chicago -A partnership between a Chicago-area auto dealership and Corvette club celebrates 25 years and more than $1 million raised for children and adults with Spina Bifida, the most common permanently disabling birth defect in the U.S.

The Illinois Spina Bifida Association will be the charity beneficiary of a Corvette raffle on Sunday, August 4 at Bill Kay Chevrolet’s 25th Annual Corvette Show in Lisle, sponsored by the Windy City Corvettes.

Lisle Mayor Joe Broda will select a Corvette at the show to receive the “Mayor’s Choice Award”.

Show attendees can view Tony Stewart’s NASCAR race car in addition to dozens of Corvettes.

The raffle and Corvette show will be held at Bill Kay Chevrolet, 601 Ogden Avenue, Lisle, Illinois.  The show opens to the public at 9:00 a.m.  A donation of $3.00 is requested; children under 12 are free.  The raffle will take place at 2:00 p.m.

Raffle tickets are $100 each; a total of ONLY 999 tickets will be sold.  Tickets are on sale at windycitycorvettes.com.  The winner need not be present.

According to Larry Pagliaro, Windy City Corvettes president, previous Corvette shows have drawn 90 to 100 cars.  To participate, Corvette owners should arrive between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.  Day-of-Show Entry fee is $25.  There is a pre-Registration discount and additional information can be found on the Windy City Corvettes website at windycitycorvettes.com. Windy City Corvettes provides an avenue for enthusiasts to use and enjoy their Corvettes, and works to support charity activities.  Windy City Corvettes is a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs.
