Hickory Hills Lions Club 5k

On Saturday, October 26th, the 4th annual “Roar and Run for Fun, 5k” race took place in Hickory Hills.  With the cooperation of the City of Hickory Hills and the Roberts Park Firefighters, the Hickory Hills Lions Club hosted a very successful 5k (3.1 mile) run/walk though the hills of Hickory Hills. Proceeds from the race will help the Hickory Hills Lions continue their 59 year history of supplying food baskets and eye care to the needy families in our area.

The field of over 100 participants enjoyed a very challenging course and was rewarded with coffee, hot chocolate, bagels, muffins, and chili at the finish. Medals were presented by Mayor Mike Howley to the top finishers.
