Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will participate in the All-School Testing Day on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Students in Grade 9 will take the EXPLORE test; students in Grade 10 will take the PLAN test; students in Grade 11 will take a Practice-Act test; All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, including students with late-arrival, should arrive by 8:50 a.m. Freshmen and sophomore students will be released at 12:00 p.m. and juniors will be released at 12:30 p.m.
The Grade 9 EXPLORE test and the Grade 10 PLAN test include questions in reading, English, math and science. All tests provide important information to students, parents, and teachers on areas of strength and weakness for all students. The ACT Practice-test is a valuable tool for juniors to prepare for the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) in April.
Seniors are encouraged to complete a college visit, participate in a career-shadowing experience, or take part in planned community service activities.
