Catholic Cemeteries Mark Memorial Day With Field Masses

Catholic cemeteries' Memorial Day Field Masses honor military members and those who died in service to their country.

The Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Cemeteries join thousands of Catholic Cemeteries around the nation for a “Memorial Day Tribute to Our Heroes.”

The 55th annual Field Masses honor all the deceased, especially those who served in the military and those who gave their lives in the service of their country. Brief military tributes will be held before the start of some Masses. All are open to the public.

Unless otherwise noted, Field Masses begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 26.
