Boy Scout Troop 596 Open House

On October 24, 2012, Boy Scout Troop 596 will be hosting an Open House at Mt. Zion Church in Oak Lawn.  The troop was formed in the late 1960's and has 78 Eagle Scouts to date. The boys in the troop will be displaying a typical campsite and the skills required of scouts.  Activites include a first aid skills demonstration, campfire building, smores, tent camping, knot typing and more. Snacks and beverages.  All boys interested in scouting are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.  Any boy 6th grade or older can join.  Come out and see how much fun scouting can be and consider joining Oak Lawn Troop 596!
