St. Francis of Assisi Day & Blessing of the Pets

Bring your dog or cat, fish or guinea pig for a blessing on this day when we commemorate St. Francis, who preached to the flocks of birds around him.  This is a day to remember that God's creation includes more than people, but also the furry and slithering, winged and web-footed.
