Fall On The Green: Master Of Traffic

Sunday is the final day of Fall On the Green, so c'mon down, have some corn and listen to some tunes. The fest runs from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Chances are if you're headed to Fall On the Green on Sunday you'll run into Dave, Master of Traffic.

Dave is one of the Oak Lawn Police Department's community service officers. By day (and sometimes by evening) he works the lobby window at Village Hall, answering the public's questions and keeping the media in line when we come to pick up the police reports for the blotter.

What people don't know is that Dave is also the Master of Traffic. With one flick of a button, Dave can halt traffic on 95th Street. He'll make sure you make it across the street safely to attend Oak Lawn's biggest party of the year.

It's the last day of Fall On the Green. Visit Patch's 2013 survival guide for everything you need to know about what's happening at the fest, from parking and bands to kids and teen activities.

Sunday's featured acts include:

  • Sean and Charlie (rock covers), Main Stage, noon-2 p.m.

  • Special Consensus (blue grass), Beer Garden, 2-4:30 p.m.

We took a lot more video and photos, including classic art of the VIP tent restroom. Patch will be posting photos and updates throughout the weekend, so check back often.
