A freezing rain advisory is in effect until 10 a.m.

Take caution if you’re driving anywhere this morning. The National Weather Service in Chicago issued a freezing rain advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Areas north of I-80 are most likely to be affected.

The mixed precipitation may result in dangerous, icy roads. The National Weather Service urges commuters to drive slowly and cautiously.

I had to take my dad up to O'Hare this morning. I fishtailed a little bit coming out of the airport.

Hope he made it out OK, I heard there was pretty bad delays. Been driving 294 between O.F. and O'Hare for 21 years, at least they take pretty good care of it in bad weather. (between construction)
