Photo Fun: Southland Residents Show St. Patty's Spirit At 13th Annual Tinley Park Parade

The weather was on Southland residents' side Sunday afternoon when they showed up in droves to Oak Park Avenue, where the Tinley Park made its way from 183rd to 171st streets. 

This year , in which more than 80 participants marched, waved and tossed candy for spectators.

Patty is an abbreviation for Patricia, not Patrick, and as such it is never an appropriate abbreviation for St. Patrick's Day. Patrick can be shortened to Paddy.
