“Get Capone” Lecture Uncovers New Truths

Acclaimed Chicago journalist and New York Times bestselling author Jonathon Eig will give a free lecture on his latest book "Get Capone: The Plot That Captured Americas Most Wanted Gangster” at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 5300 W. 95th St., on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. Learn about how Eig reconstructed the true story of Capone's rise and fall through an avid pursuit of archival records, including never-before-seen government documents and newly discovered letters written by Al Capone himself.  Eig has appeared on NBC’s Today Show, CNN, NPR, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and lectures around the country.  Visit his web site at www.getcapone.com.
