Mother McAuley Theatre Seminar Shw

Students in Mother McAuley's Theatre Seminar I class will present "The Third Wave" at 7:00 p.m. March 8, 9 and 10th and at 2:00 p.m. on March 11. Tickets cost $5.00 and are on sale at the door.

The Third Wave is a true story about a high school experiment that went out of control. Set in 1967 in Palo Alto California -- during the Vietnam war, racial integration and social revolution -- the play centers around a young teacher and his World History class. The teacher attempts to demonstrate why people could be led so easily during the Holocaust through an exercise of discipline not unlike that of a totalitarian society.  It is a engaging piece of theatre with a great lesson.
