SXU to host Pulitzer Prize-nominated play "Love Letters"

Join award-winning thespians Paddy Lynn and Jon Leslie Lynn for “Love Letters,” a Pulitzer Prize-nominated play by A.R. Gurney, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thurs., March 15 at Saint Xavier University. The performance will be held in McGuire Hall, located in the Warde Academic Center at SXU's Chicago campus, 3700 W 103rd St. The event is free and open to the public.     “Love Letters” is a romantic comedy about a pair of star-crossed lovers, Melissa and Andrew. They meet during the second grade and share their life experiences with each other through a series of letters during the next 50 years, but never quite manage to connect despite their shared feelings.      Paddy Lynn is president and artistic director of the Kirk Players acting company. She has won the company's Best Actress award for several plays, including “I Shot My Rich Aunt,” “Death of a Salesman,” and "The Runner Stumbles." She also works as a professional storyteller.     Jon Leslie Lynn is a member of the Kirk Players and served 13 years on the board of directors. He won the company's Best Actor awards for “The Lark" and "Death Takes a Holiday” and starred in numerous other plays.
