Taylor University Ringers & Bell Choir

The Taylor Ringers, directed by Dr. Keith Kunda, from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana will be performing at Oak Lawn Bible Church, 9435 South 54th Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 15, 2011.  The Taylor Ringers is an advanced choir that rings five octaves of English handbells. The group consists of thirteen college students (five men and eight women), all of whom have had previous bell ringing experience. The group rehearses two hours per week and performs a variety of musical styles, mostly levels 3, 4, and 5. Founded in 1982, the group has performed in various churches throughout the nation as well as at various music education conventions and bell choir festivals. In addition, the group has presented programs in Eastern Europe (Hungary and Czechoslovakia) in May, 1992, in the Holy Land (Israel and Jordan) in May, 1996, in Ireland in March, 2000, in Eastern Europe (Czech Republic and Ukraine) during the spring of 2004, and Ecuador during the spring of 2008.
