Leo Club from Richards creates get-well cards for OL Lion Len Pearson

Yesterday, Leo Club students from Richards High School stayed late to make get-well cards for our friend and colleague Len Pearson. As many know, Mr. Pearson founded the first Leo Club in Illinois at Richards in 1969.

A member of the Lions Club of Oak Lawn for more than a half century, Mr. Pearson sponsored the Leo Club at Richards for nearly 40 years.

His service to our community allowed hundreds of graduates to experience the joy and reward of serving others. Now in his 90s, he's faced some health issues recently.

Many thanks to current faculty sponsor Beth Rockey and Leo Club for their kind and thoughtful gesture. It's exactly the sort of thing that Mr. Pearson would have done for someone else!
