More than 600 at Running with the Bulldogs; group winners listed here

For the second year in a row, more than 600 runners and walkers helped Richards High School raise thousands for the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation at Running with the Bulldogs.

Once again the largest 5K in the south suburbs, the event attracted a huge crowd that included Oak Lawn Mayor Sandra Bury and POTCF founder Colleen Kisel.

POTCF provides free toys, gifts, and gift cards to children and teenagers in treatment for cancer at many hospitals throughout the Chicago area, including Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, and the nation.

Last year, Running with the Bulldogs raised nearly $11,000 for POTCF.  Once all bills have been paid, Richards will present Kisel with another check for her charity.
