When and how did your business get started?
Over 40 years ago, Tom Cusack needed to way to make a living. The family had a beer and soda pop distribution company that had just recently gone out of business.
He started working for a local insurance company by day and bartended at night. A year later he decided to start his own agency. Forty years later, Tom Cusack's agency is still alive and well. Some of our clients are second- and even third-generation.
What is your business best known for?
We are an independent agency. This means that we deal with a number of insurance agencies. This gives us a lot of flexibility in finding the right insurance company and product for our customers.
We always do what is right for the client. Sometimes that even means telling a potential customer to stay with their current insurance.
