Home Depot in Oak Lawn is hiring hourly workers for sales/lot/cashier and freight associates. Illinois Courts – Chicago Office

An opening for a language access services specialist (court interpreter) is available in the Chicago administrative office of the Illinois Courts. A minimum Bachelor's degree in court administration, public administration, criminal justice administration, business administration or a related field of study and a minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in program administration required or, in lieu of three years' experience, an advanced degree in law, court administration, public administration, criminal justice administration, business administration or a related field of study, although an advanced degree is preferred, plus 3 to 5 years experience. Candidates must have fluency in a second language or English as a second language. Starting annual salary is $51,435. JOB FAIRS 

The Chicago Transit Authority is holding two job fairs for customer assistant career opportunities. The CTA offers competitive wages, benefits and job growth potential. Starting hourly salary is $12.40. Candidates need to maintain a neat appearance as well pass a drug test and basic math and report writing test. The job fairs are scheduled for:

  • JLM Abundant Life Community Center, 2622 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Feb. 22;
  • Roberto Clemente Community Academy, 1147 N. Western Ave., Chicago, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 23.
