Public Safety and Security Officer

The City Colleges of Chicago’s Malcolm X campus is seeking two, parti-time public safety and security officers to work 24 hours a week. This position functions as lead workers who direct the activities as part-time officers and assistants. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for individuals, protecting all property of the college, and reducing the risk of liability to the college. These individuals are required to be armed and wear appropriate uniforms. Performs others duties as needed to ensure a safe environment at the college. Two years of experience in a law enforcement capacity. Part-Time Police Officer - Moraine Valley

The Palos Hills-based community college is accepting applications for a part-time police officer. The position calls for a state certified officer with a minimum of five years of experience. You would provide protection of the lives, property, and rights of all people, maintains order, enforces the law impartially, and responds to crime and disorder in accordance with established procedures and directives. Veterans Job Fair

A veterans job fair is scheduled for April 25 and will be hosted by Macy's on State Street, 111 N. State St. The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features job opportunities, continuing education options and business-ownership opportunities. The fair is open to veterans transitioning to civilian life, veterans who already have work experience, National Guard and reserve forces and military spouses and family members.
