Grants Assistant

The Field Museum is looking for an assistant to support the grants compliance director and facilitate all post-award activities by updating and maintaining grants data in the financial software, in spreadsheets, in databases, and on the grants intranet website. The Grants Assistant will need to accurately complete financial calculations to determine billing amounts and reporting amounts for grant and cost share expenditures. The Grants Assistant will review all grant and cost share expenditures to determine compliance with federal, state and local procurement laws and regulations. This position will communicate with and prepare grants reports and notifications to assist principal investigators in meeting compliance requirements. Mechanic Helper

Pace Bus is looking for a mechanic helper at its Bridgeview facility. This is a union position. Under the direction of the superintendent of maintenance, the helper is responsible for performing preventive maintenance inspections and general repairs on all Company vehicles and equipment.
Makes all types of service calls, may perform Foreman's duties as needed and must complete all required documents and account for all materials used in accordance with work order system. Performs duties of the classification and other duties as assigned or required. Must be 21, possess a set of starter tools, and have/be able to obtain a Class A commercial drivers license. Paralegal – Real Estate and Contracts

Metra has an opening in its legal department for a paralegal reporting directly to the Senior Associate General Counsel, Real Estate and Contracts, handles general corporate and real estate matters. Responsible for handling various contract, property tax, purchase and sale, leasing, title and survey matters. Coordinates and administers Board documents and packages. Acts as a liaison with internal departments and local governments regarding closings, transactional documents, property tax matters, notices, and ownership information. Performs basic legal research under the supervision of staff attorneys.
